DREAMERS launches: young people building physical and mental strength
In Amsterdam, the new DREAMERS program has officially launched. This initiative by kickboxing champion Levi Rigters, powered by IT4Kids, and developed in collaboration with Humanitas Amsterdam & Diemen (Gezonde Maatjes), helps young people grow stronger—both physically and mentally.
DREAMERS is a 10-week resilience program for young people aged 12 to 15. In small groups, participants work on building self-confidence, resilience, and personal development.
Combining sport and mental strength
The program consists of a combination of kickboxing training and themed sessions focused on mental strength. Participants train twice a week, exploring topics such as recognizing emotions, setting boundaries, discovering their dreams, being authentic, and setting goals.
Through this approach, participants grow stronger both physically and mentally. They build confidence, learn to handle challenges, and discover where their strengths lie.
Levi Rigters as mentor and role model
Drawing from his own experiences as a professional athlete and his personal journey, Levi Rigters plays a central role in DREAMERS. As a mentor and role model, he inspires young people to believe in themselves and follow their own path. His message is clear: chasing your dreams starts with having the courage to try.
Creating impact together
DREAMERS by Levi Rigters, powered by IT4Kids, is realized in collaboration with Humanitas Amsterdam & Diemen, which played an important role in reaching the participants.
Thanks to the support of partners XXL Nutrition, TrainMore, Investore, and Mr Monroe, DREAMERS is made accessible to the young people who need it most.
