New IT4Kids board member Miguel Brahim brings financial expertise to the table

IT4Kids’ board is expanding with Miguel Brahim, a husband and father of two sons, and a partner at PwC with expertise in digitizing accounting and reporting. His background in finance brings a valuable addition to the IT4Kids board, where he will assume the role of treasurer.

Miguel grew up in a small village in Brabant, but he has lived in various places around the world, from Suriname to America. “I attended high school in Suriname, and then returned to the Netherlands for my studies. I also lived in America for a few years, where my youngest son was born.”

Moving, sports, and friends
The choice to join IT4Kids stemmed from his own experiences. “Sport played a crucial role in my life, for both mental and physical health, and for fun. But also for building valuable friendships. Sport helped me build a social circle in every new place I lived. And I even derive opportunities for my work from sports, as it expands your network. You can usually find me on the squash or tennis court at the moment. And on weekends, I enjoy going to the gym with my sons,” Miguel says. He is determined to offer others the same opportunities he has had.

IT4Kids Treasurer
“I have a nice stability in my career and personal life. It made me think about giving back to society. I was still exploring how I would like to do that. And then IT4Kids came into the picture, and it felt like the perfect match right away.” His experience in finance and his ambition to optimize processes make him a valuable addition to the board. Together with director Colette and founder Jordy, he aims to improve internal processes and controls.

“IT4Kids provides a platform to combine my passion for sports and my financial knowledge with an opportunity to give back to society. It’s a wonderful cause dedicated to creating sports opportunities for children. I am aware that while I have always had access to sports, and so have my children, there are many children in the Netherlands who do not have this opportunity,” says Miguel. “I believe that with a collective effort, we can help even more children experience the positive impact of sports.”

With his drive, expertise, and dedication, we are delighted to welcome Miguel Brahim as a new board member at IT4Kids!
