IT4Kids supports the Prinses Máxima Centrum by donating decommissioned hardware

This year, the IT4Kids Foundation is supporting the sports and movement program “Maximaal Bewegen” at the Prinses Máxima Centrum. This program provides year-round physical activities for children with cancer. During their stay at the Prinses Máxima Centrum, children are encouraged to be active, as physical activity contributes to their recovery and provides distraction and enjoyment.

Thanks to the support of IT4Kids and other donors, the Foundation can continue to implement the sports and movement program. The costs for this project are not covered by insured healthcare. To raise more funds for this project, companies can donate decommissioned hardware to the Foundation. IT4Kids handles the processing of the hardware and ensures that the net proceeds contribute to the Maximaal Bewegen program.

Would you like to donate decommissioned hardware or contribute in another way that directly supports our mission: to cure every child with cancer, with optimal quality of life? Please contact the Foundation for more information (email: foundation@prinsesmaximacentrum.nl or call: 088 – 972 87 51). Together, we make a difference in the lives of children with cancer.

Quote from Evelyn Kleij (IT4Kids): “I am very pleased with the collaboration between the Prinses Maxima Centrum and IT4Kids. IT4Kids believes in the power of movement to help children grow socially and emotionally. From this conviction, it is wonderful that IT4Kids can contribute to the Maximaal Bewegen project.”

Quote from Patrick van der Torre, pediatric physiotherapist: “Getting and keeping all children at the Máxima moving. Thanks to the support of IT4Kids, we make this possible!”
